How's She Do It?

My mother's constant success with running a household , raising a child and working long hours is still enigmatic to me. I often wonder how she is able to do it all, will I ever be able to do as much as she does in a twentyfour hour day? She makes it seem so easy, nonchalant and gossamer and this is exactly why I think I say her phrase, "Something light, nothing major." so often. Coincidently, I was able to take on her role for a bit on this past Monday. She informed me that she would be doing a late night at work and that she would need me to cover a few errands for her. While they each seemed terribly easy, they were actually a bit hard to accomplish. I immediately grew aprreciation for her and the hard work that she does. While it was tough and a little mindracking, I was truly proud that I had taken on some of my mother's responsibilities to help her out. ♥

  1. Your mom sounds like an incredible lady!
Gossamer really should be used to describe something physical, something almost like a spider web. A person can't be described as "gossamer." Remind me to show you some articles in the Inquirer that will interest you.
