Boutique Adventure #9

Before I got to my internship I stopped to Starbucks and got my sponsor a treat. The weather was farely beautiful and it felt good to actually see the town full of life and seeing exactly how people browse, windowshop, (or shop), and simply enjoy themselves and the excitement that Haddonfield has to offer. As soon as I walked in I saw a handful of girls all on the lefthand side of the boutique browsing the gowns that covered the walls. I could see that my sponsor was busy so I hurried to put my things down and try my best to help. I asked the girls if they were prom gown shopping, what school they attended, when the prom was, exactly what sort of dress they were looking for, long or short. Before I knew it, I had started the girls a fitting room, each with a handful of dresses and began to help zip, tuck and snap them in when needed and gave them my honest opinion of how they looked. Let's just say that there was definitely a prom gown purchase soon-after ;). Maybe it was the way I welcomed them, or maybe the interest that I showed towards each or their special occasions. I'm definitely getting the hang of this. After my intern, I decided to walk around for a bit and not just go home immediately after I was done. I wanted to feel like the people I had mentioned earlier who were enjoying the lovely weather and the beautiful shoppes that the town has to offer. After my little 'roam' I noticed that there is a variety of different stores. From sidewalk restaurants, to bathing suit stores, to shoe stores, Ice Creameries, bike stores, Irish stores, (kiss me =]), candy stores, DRESS STORES, (hmmm a little competition never hurts ayee?) and much more. It was great to take a look around the place I'm actually beginning to grow very fond of. Actually, it was quite lovely.♥
