"Haddonfield Stop!"

Every Friday I am destined to hear this saying over the loudspeaker of New Jersey's Patco Train. When arriving I usually begin to turn off my iTouch and begin my little journey to proceed to the boutique. My normal routine for a 'Day at the Boutique' as I would call it goes like this, getting changed into appropriate and statement making attire after 7th period, getting to the bus stop around the corner from school by 1:56 and catching it to the station. I then get on the train and get off at the Haddonfield stop. I walk 3 blocks and wah-lahhh, I've arrived! I chose Friday because I like the whole feel of a 'long weekend'. Leaving early on a friday just makes it feel like a early relief from school and after my intern I'm going straight home to chill for the rest of the weekend in contrast to returning to school the following day. The only blah part I think I would be able to justify for this sponsorship obligation is weather. Although it is cold, I can bear it with gloves and scarfs and things of that nature; however, if it happens to be raining, I'd be COL'ed! (Crap Out of Luck). It would be a bit difficult to travel with my normal bags and books and also try to keep my 'do up to par while carrying an umbrella. :/
What do I want? I would love to be shown some behind the scenes things about business. I would like to know some key rules about retail and what it takes to be successful in the independent fashion business industry, as well as key 'Consumer Wheel-in'ers' that make customers come into their store. I think that either Mr. Anthony or Joann Amentani will be able to provide that information for me.♥

  1. Great entry! I your excitement is palpable, and you are soooo on track to have a fruitful seminar experience. You will have such a headstart on other young people wanting to get into this profession!
Thanks for teaching me the meaning of "COL." It's the most colorful verb that I've heard in ages!
