Boutique Adventure #5!

Being that I visit my sponsor on a Friday, I can't post it and have it in by class time on Friday. Therefore, I will finish this post (and every 'Adventure' post from this point on) as soon as I return home from my adventure to be read by Mr. Abrams as well as my classmates. Tootles!

This boutique adventure was absolutely wonderful. :) I got to meet my sponsor for the first time, the owner of the store, Joann Armentani. She's soo bubbly and fashionable and she is such a sweetheart. You can obviously see that she has a very busy schedule and that she normally does a million things at one time. We spoke about how school is going and about how my experience at the boutique is going so far. She taught me how to steam dresses properly and how to 'Display' (:]) them correctly. One of the store employee's, Michelle, who I'm sure you guys will hear me talk about a lot, mentioned to me that they refuse to set up the boutique like a department store or one you'd see in a mall. They want to make the customer feel as if their visit is more personal and that they can feel comfortable. She explained that they can only get this result by displaying the boutique in a comfortable yet attention grabbing manner. They often put their newest pieces in the windows, displaying an array of lovely colors and sizes. As soon as she mentioned this, I jotted it down on a piece of paper, knowing that her very words would be of great help! ♥

  1. In the future, I'll let you finish Friday's blog anytime on a Friday, up to midnight. On Thursday, you can sign for having finished Friday's blog. Your signature is something of a promissary note.
